From 0-13 years dental care is free with your community dental clinic

Dental nurses provide free dental care for children. You can enrol your child directly or referrals can be made by Well Child providers or general practitioners.

School dental nurses provide a great service and often refer children to us for more complicated procedures. Treatment for children at Smilehaus is only free if you have been referred by a dental therapist or the treatment cannot be done by a school dental therapist.

We are able to provide dental care for some children of exisitng patients at Smilehaus.  Please arrange to talk to one of our clinicians about the right option for your child.

Teen dental care at Smilehaus

This is a really important age to reinforce good dental home care habits. Smilehaus is contracted to provide general dental care, fully funded, for 13-18 year olds. Your child can enrol with Smilehaus from the end of year 8.  Your Community dental clinic (school dental clinic) will normally provide enrolment information, or you can enrol directly with Smilehaus.

As a contracted provider, Smilehaus provides free dental care for 13-18 year olds.
